Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera would make a statement in Genevatomorrow on the inaugural day of the United Nations Human Rights Council’s three-week-long session.
The statement is expected to throw light on how the Sri Lankan government will proceed further on the issues of accountability and reconciliation.
UNHRC Commissioner Said Raad Al Husain will present the UNHRC annual reporttomorrow at 9 am.
Minister Mangala Samaraweera is scheduled to address the session at 11.40 am local time tomorrow.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the TNA members who are in Geneva will be meeting several representatives of the Global Tamil Forum next week.
According to foreign media they will be discussing the current political situation and the human rights situation in the country.
