Sri Lanka Police have arrested 1,347 people in the 24 hours ended at 06:00 am today (06th April), for violating the curfew. The police also seized 312 vehicles for traveling without a permit during the curfew. According to the Police Media Unit, 14,795 persons have been arrested since the islandwide curfew initially imposed at 6 pm March 20th until 6 am today (April 06). The police have also taken 3,665 vehicles into custody during this period.
