Swiss Embassy employee gives 4-hour-long statement to CID [

Swiss Embassy employee Garnier Banister Francis, who was allegedly threatened by a group of unidentified men, left the CID after giving a four-hour long statement to the CID today. She appeared before the CID for the third consecutive day today to give a statement.

The officer arrived yesterday evening (Dec 09) to record a statement on the alleged events which took place on Nov 25. She is reported to have spent 6 hours at the CID yesterday. Meanwhile, the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court further extended the travel ban on the aforementioned staffer till Dec 12.
